Participate in a research study to improve online services that help you to find ways around.

What is the Research Study?

Queensland University of Technology is doing a research study to understand young people’s experiences when using digital technology during a routine commute, to help design a framework for the improvement of online services.

Who are they looking for?

The research team is looking for young people (18-30 years old) with diversity in mobility levels that have to adapt to different limitations on their journeys to school or work. This screening questionnaire will help them understand your use of online technology while commuting.

What will they ask you to do?

You are invited to take part in a screening questionnaire that will take approximately 10 minutes of your time.

Are there any risks for you in taking part?

There are no risks beyond normal day-to-day living associated with your participation in this research project.

Are there any benefits for you in taking part?

It is expected that this research project will not benefit you directly. However, it may contribute to the ways the digital technology design industry can transform people’s independence and improve their well-being. This means that in the long term you may benefit from improved experiences in the use of online services during routine commute.

Will you be compensated for your time?

To recognise your contribution should you choose to participate, the research team is offering coffee vouchers and a chance to win a $100 Myer voucher in a lucky draw.
